Breaking stereotypes
Breaking stereotypes 현실세계와 같은 사회·경제·문화 활동이 이루어지는 ‘메타버스 플랫폼’에 영감을 받아 Flower arrangement의 개념을 새로운 시각으로 바라보고 재해석해보았다.
우리는 만 2년이라는 시간을 코로나 펜데믹 속에 살아갔으며, 그로 인해 빠르게 발전되고 있는 새로운 매개체들에 영감을 받아 우리는 보다 더 다양한 형태로 꽃을 즐기고자 언택트 전시회를 진행해보았다.
그래피티, 뱅크시의 작품에 영감을 받아 꽃과 자연이 지닌 고유의 형태에 미래적인 색감을 입혀 우주를 형상화해보고, 여러 재료들의 활용을 통해 인간의 탐구심을 표현하고자했다.
펜데믹 이후 좁아진 생활반경이 넓혀지기를 바라며, 새로운 화두를 던지고 생각의 반경을 넓혀본 작품들을 소개한다.
일렁이는 우주의 바다
자연에서 피어나는 또다른 미래
생성과 소멸의 반복인 우주
하나의 공간으로 재탄생 된 산물
‘물리적 제한이 없는 가상공간의 꽃’이라는 과학적 영감으로부터 재탄생 된 플라워 디자인에 주목해주길 바란다.

Breaking existing stereotypes for the Future means our efforts to break down the separation of online and offline, and to extend the stuff of flowers and plants beyond the conventional stereotypes.
Now, the first Floral Exhibition is to be held online at 9 o’clock p.m. from Tue. October 5 to Fri. October 8, 2021 via social media, describing:
- Grand ocean of the Universe;
- A new Future arising from Mother Nature;
- Incessant flow of creation and extinction; and
- Brand-new types of flower arrangements reborn in the cyberspace.
This is the collaboration project staged jointly by Jenny Chang and Lee Sori under the slogan “Let’s go together for a Creative Future.”
We have been inspired by graffiti art as well as the artworks of Banksy.
We will show you the Unexperienced Beauty in the Paradise.

私たちは、わずか2年という時間をコロナペンデミクの中に生きて行き、それによって急速に発展している新しい媒体にインスピレーションを受け、私たちはより様々な形で花を楽しみたいキャンペーンを進めていた。
グラフィティアート、バンクシーの作品にインスピレーションを受けて花が持つ固有の形に将来的な色味を加えて宇宙を形象化してみて、様々なの材料の活用を通じて、人間の探究心を表現しようとした。
ペンデミク以降狭くなった生活半径が広げられることを願って、考えの半径を広げた作品を紹介する。
揺れる宇宙の海を連想させる花のデザインに注目してほしい。
